Heading into Tuesday’s election in Lake Worth Beach, Betty Resch was optimistic she could unseat Mayor Pam Triolo, a three-term incumbent.
But win by 20 percentage points? Not in her wildest dreams.
“I was stunned,” said Resch, 70. “When I saw the numbers last night I was just so humbled.”
It was a bad night for incumbents, not just Triolo.
