Three protesters, ages 23, 25 and 29 from cities of Santa Cruz, Reedley and Sacramento, were later detained and questioned related to the vandalism but were released when police could not specifically link them to the crime, Clark said. The group’s members, said Clark, was dressed in the style of “Black Bloc” activists, referring to a protest tactic involving masked protesters dressed in black that is associated with anarchism.
