Thousands of people from the LGBTQ community, an anarchist collective, Black Lives Matter, and other groups took to the streets for a second night at around 5 p.m. for a vigil to talk about the outcome of Tuesday’s election and their fears about a Trump presidency.

As the protests escalated, some of the marchers — called anarchists by LGBTQ protesters with whom VICE News spoke — smashed car windows at a nearby Toyota dealership and spray-painted “Kill Trump” on newspaper boxes. Some protesters smashed windows of businesses and even took to the roof of a McDonald’s on Northeast Grand.
