Durham protesters due in court Tuesday

Around the same time as that protest, Durham’s mayor requested an evaluation from the police department about recent demonstrations.
In the report issued days later, Chief Jose Lopez said an anarchist group is behind some of the recent protests with a goal to aggravate demonstrators already frustrated with police.
